You can see Stro Elliot performing nightly on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, as a member of The Roots but before that, his path to success wasn’t an easy one. When we first meet, he was in a hip hop group called The Procussions, touring like rockstars and on their way to stardom. But a few years later he had left the music business, cut his hair and was working a temp job, while sleeping on a friends couch. 

Today, I have a discussion with Stro about how chasing dreams are about embracing the peaks and valleys and just believing in your talent. Our friendship is a deep one and we had plenty to chat about. So this is just PART 1 of 2. Give it a listen and stay tuned for PART 2 next week.
