Tamir Rice was only 12 years old when he was fatally shot by a police officer while playing with a fake gun at a public park. Justice was not served for Tamir Rice and his case, along with Michael Brown in Ferguson, started the Black Lives Matter movement in 2014. This case got national attention for its tragic loss and for the police officers getting away with another murder.
