A 4-part series on TikTok from user Samantha Hartsoe went viral when she discovered a hidden apartment behind the mirror in her bathroom in New York City. This creepy video brought correlation to the supernatural movie Candyman which was very loosely based on the murder of Ruthie McCoy. The Broaddus family couldn’t have been more excited to move into their dream house at 657 Boulevard in the well-off town of Westfield, New Jersey in 2014. But as the couple was preparing to settle into the $1.3 million house with their three children, they received disturbing letters in the mail. They were signed only by “The Watcher" and had no return address. Whoever was writing these seemed to have been watching the Broadduses carefully and knowing their every move and all their names.
