In discussing their respective fitness plans, Alen and John reflect on the foundations of diet and training that, when mastered, allow the freedom and flexibility that an intuitive approach to each can yield.
Things get philosophical when this leads to the discussion of “identity” in fitness and the duality of motivation. The bros have dealt with their fair share of struggles with body dysmorphia, so it’s reps to failure as they cover the good, the bad, and the ugly of the aesthetics-obsessed bro. The tone is hopeful though as they ponder the evolution of the lifting man, more abstract fitness goals, and how to find your fitness mode, all before hitting the listeners with their double dutch take on jump roping and it’s benefits.
