The phrase "eat less and move more" oversimplifies the complexities of fat loss
It ignores factors like metabolism, hormones, sleep, stress, and genetics!! Which in my opinion, are the MOST important things to focus on 👀
Often we find that this saying encourages unsustainable restriction…Overlooking the importance of nutrient quality, and fails to address the emotional and psychological aspects of eating and exercise.
This advice often creates unrealistic expectations, disregards individual needs, and can promote disordered behaviors
So what do we do instead?
