One of my very favorite things about these Trailercast conversations is the opportunity to really get to know listeners. The opportunity to hear from you; to hand you the mic and see where the conversation leads. It is always a thrill to unpack your stories, and always leaves me with an immense feeling of gratitude and awe.
In this episode you get to meet Jessie, and I just loved talking to her. We dive right into her story, beginning with a cancer diagnosis in high school. We talk about survival and healing and love. We talk about being a part of something bigger than ourselves and experiences where our stories cross and intersect with the divine. We touch on what is happening in her life now: on teaching and learning and living through this pandemic. We talk about her journey with trying to have a baby, and the truth that we are not alone on whatever path we find ourselves on.
