Episode Notes:
Like many others over the past 5000 years, has man’s search for meaning and the big questions like “why am I here?” … “what’s my purpose” … and “who am I?”, have you questioning your own life these days?
Recently, I attended a major on-line event with a record-breaking, 2.4 million other people, that was driven & hosted by someone that is Hollywood-famous, but most certainly not Hollywood-focused, that helped share a different point-of-view on one of those ageless questions.
Matthew McConaughey is not your typical Hollywood celebrity. He has been known to push back against the pressures of the industry, and in fact, intentionally tanked his own extremely successful rom-com career because he wanted to do more meaningful work. He is authentic, intelligent, and has a true heart to serve.
This week, I wanted to share this message I found on YouTube that he gave, that helps answer one of those big life questions, but from a little different perspective…instead of asking and seeking “Who am I?” … maybe it’s better to start with eliminating “who we are not”?
