Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
2 CORINTHIANS 5:17

DEVOTION
Based on 2 Corinthians 5
This verse is a powerful declaration of transformation. When we accept Christ, we are not merely improved versions of ourselves—we are made new. Our past mistakes, sins, and failures no longer define us. God gives us a fresh start, shaping us according to His purpose.

Being a new creation means living differently—choosing faith over fear, love over bitterness, and obedience over self-will. It’s a daily journey of letting go of the old and embracing the new life God has given us.

Take a moment tonight to reflect on your new identity in Christ. Breathe out the weight of your past, and breathe in the renewal of His Spirit. Ask Him to help you walk confidently in the new life He has given you.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Praise God for His power to make all things new. Worship Him as the One who redeems, restores, and transforms lives.

CONFESSION: Reflect on times when you’ve clung to the past instead of embracing the new life in Christ. Confess any doubts or fears that have kept you from fully walking in His transformation.

THANKSGIVING: Thank God for the gift of a fresh start in Him. Express gratitude for His grace that allows you to move forward free from the weight of past failures.

SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to live as the new creation You’ve made me to be. Strengthen my faith to leave the past behind and walk in the fullness of Your renewal. Teach me to see myself through Your eyes and trust in the work You are doing in my life.

PRAYER
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
2 CORINTHIANS 5:17
Dear Lord, You make all things new! I am grateful that there are countless second chances at the cross. The former lies I believed and life I led has been crucified with Christ, and now I live a new life of purpose in You. Help me when I stray back into my former habits before I met You. Continually refine me and remind me of who I am in You! I want to live in my identity as a new creature in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾
