Jon grew up in New England, and currently lives in Florida. He graduated from URI in 2014. He went on to work as an intern at URI until he accepted a seasonal strength and conditioning coach position with the Boston Red Sox as a MiLB Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2016. He returned to URI following that season to work as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. While there he also obtained his Master's degree in Kinesiology. Once finished, he accepted a job with the Texas Rangers organization in the winter of 2019. During his time in professional baseball, he has worked in Low-A, High-A, and AA. While in college, he had the opportunity to work or assist with baseball, basketball, soccer, football, volleyball, track and field, tennis, golf, softball, and swimming and diving.
