Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Romans 3:23-24
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”
ROMANS 3:23-24
DEVOTION
Based on Romans 3
These verses remind us of two profound truths—our universal need for salvation and God’s incredible gift of grace. No one is exempt from sin; we all fall short of God’s perfect standard. Left to ourselves, we could never earn His approval. But through Christ, we are justified freely by His grace.
Justification means being declared righteous, not by our works but by faith in Jesus’ redemptive sacrifice. His grace erases our failures and offers us a new identity. We don’t have to strive for salvation; we only need to receive it through faith.
Take a moment tonight to reflect on God’s grace. Breathe out guilt and striving, and breathe in the peace of His forgiveness. Rest in the truth that you are redeemed, not by your actions, but by His love.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Praise God for His righteousness and grace, which make salvation possible. Worship Him for His mercy in redeeming you through Christ.
CONFESSION: Acknowledge areas where you’ve fallen short of God’s glory. Confess any sins that weigh on your heart, knowing His grace covers you.
THANKSGIVING: Thank God for justifying you freely, apart from your own efforts. Express gratitude for Jesus’ sacrifice, which made redemption possible.
SUPPLICATION: Father, help me fully grasp the depth of Your grace. Teach me to walk in the freedom of being justified in Christ, no longer striving but resting in Your love. Let my life reflect the gratitude of someone redeemed by Your mercy.
PRAYER
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”
ROMANS 3:23-24
Dear gracious God, We come before You in humble thankfulness. We confess that we are sinners and that all have gone astray from your paths of righteousness. Yet Your mercy remains steadfast and without bounds. We praise You for sending Jesus, the spotless Lamb of God, to die for our sins. By His death You have opened a way for us to be saved and restored back into Your good graces. We thank You that You have given us the promise of eternal life and peace with You through Christ Jesus. Grant us the courage to live in gratitude for what Your Son has done and to walk in accordance with Your will. May we always strive to honor You for the grace which has been lavished upon us. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏🏾
