Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 27:10
When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.”
PSALM 27:10
DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 27
This verse is a comforting reminder that God’s love is steadfast, even when human relationships fail. Earthly relationships, even the closest ones, can be imperfect or broken. But God’s care for us is unwavering—He never abandons or forgets us. His love is deeper than any human bond, offering security when we feel alone or rejected.
God takes us in as His own, providing the love, guidance, and belonging we long for. He is our Father, our refuge, and our safe place. No matter who may leave or disappoint us, He remains faithful.
Take a moment tonight to rest in the truth of God’s unfailing love. Breathe out loneliness or hurt, and breathe in the assurance that He holds you close. Trust that He will always be there, even when others fail.

ADORATION: Praise God for His constant and faithful love. Worship Him as the One who never forsakes you, even when others do.
CONFESSION: Reflect on moments when you’ve relied more on human approval than God’s presence. Confess any fears of abandonment, and ask Him to fill your heart with His love.

Dear Lord, You are the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Though I may feel alone in this world, I rest assured that Your love for me is everlasting. Even when nobody else is there to provide comfort or guidance, I know that You will remain faithful. The depths of loneliness can be overwhelming, yet You always provide a way out. Your steadfast love is a source of great comfort and assurance in the midst of loneliness. With each step on this path, I have faith that You are leading me with Your loving hand. Help me to remember that I am never alone, for You are always here with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾
