Welcome to What The Heck season 4! This podcast explores unexplained phenomena using stories gathered from various sources, then applies an academic research method to find theories and solutions for each one. So far, we've been unsuccessful in finding any concrete answers, but a few of the stories we've covered have been solved. This week, is opening week and we're looking at ghosts! We're starting with looking at ghosts as what they could be and the theories behind them. Our understanding of ghosts has changed over the centuries, starting with an idea that the body and soul are separate, the introductionof Christianity and losing the belief, to potentially full circle. The problem comes when we start to look at the evidence, because there isn't a specified list of things that ghosts can definitely do. What is the history of ghosts? Why did our beliefs change so much? What is Stone Tape Theory? Listen in to hear all the theories!
