Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Isaiah 40:29
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.”
ISAIAH 40:29
DEVOTION
Based on Isaiah 40
This verse reminds us that God sees us in our weakness and offers His strength in return. When we are weary, discouraged, or feel like we have nothing left to give, He provides the power we need to carry on. His strength is not reserved for the already-strong but for those who admit their need for Him.
In times of exhaustion—physical, emotional, or spiritual—God is our source of renewal. He increases strength in ways we cannot find on our own. His power lifts us when we are faint and sustains us when we feel empty. You are never alone in your weakness; God stands ready to strengthen you.
Take a moment tonight to bring your weariness to Him. Breathe out exhaustion, and breathe in His power. Trust that He will renew and sustain you.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Praise God as the giver of strength and sustainer of the weary. Worship Him for His compassion and power that never runs out.
CONFESSION: Reflect on times when you’ve tried to overcome obstacles with your own strength. Confess your self-reliance and acknowledge your need for His power.
THANKSGIVING: Thank God for His endless supply of strength, and for the times He has carried you through exhaustion and weakness.
SUPPLICATION: Father, renew my strength. Lift me up in my weariness. Teach me to depend on Your power rather than my own. Fill me with Your strength so I can walk in faith, even when I feel faint.
PRAYER
“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.”
ISAIAH 40:29
Dear Heavenly Father, You are the source of all power and strength. When our minds are weary and full of doubt, we come to You for comfort and focus. Your grace gives us hope that no matter how difficult something may seem, nothing is impossible with You by our side. We pray for courage when it feels like our strength is waning, for peace when our fear overwhelms us. Remind us of Your promises, oh Lord, that You renew the strength of those who wait upon You. Thank you for your infinite wisdom and love, and grant us the ability to pour out our hearts before You in prayer. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾
