This week, I’ve had apple pie almost every day.

And the wild part?

I didn’t feel guilty.I didn’t overcompensate with extra cardio.I didn’t ā€œstart overā€ the next day.I didn’t spiral into thinking I ruined my goals.

But that wasn’t always the case.

For years, I restricted foods like this. And when I finally allowed myself to have them, I’d usually overindulge, feel guilty, and then try to make up for it with more exercise or more restriction.

That cycle is exhausting.

In this episode, I’m talking about what actually helped me build food freedom and it probably isn’t what most people think.

I break down:

* Why restriction made my relationship with food worse

Food freedom isn’t having no structure.

It’s having enough awareness, trust, and flexibility to make choices without guilt, shame, or all-or-nothing thinking.
