Everyday, there are millions of people who play the lottery. Instead of working hard to earn what they receive, they want an easy way to make money. 

As a teenager, there was nothing I wanted more on Saturday morning than to sleep in and do nothing. Yet, early each Saturday, I remember dad getting me out of bed to help with chores and work around the house. 

Then, when those warm, relaxing summer days would come, He would drag me to work to help with the family business. These lessons, which were hated as a child, are cherished today because they taught me the value of working hard.  

God honors our hard work because it is part of His design. In the garden of Eden, God gave Adam a job to perform. Then, later He teaches, that we ought to work for six days, and rest on the seventh. These principles of hard work are important for every generation. Be grateful for the work that God has given you today.
