Guys if you’re going to listen to any of my podcasts about Bipolar, mental illness, dating some one with bipolar, being admitted as an in patient, mania, depression etc… this is the one!
I chatted with my friend Soph who at 28 has recently been diagnosed with Bipolar type 1 and it was beyond interesting. She talked about her 9 month manic/hypermanic episode, impulses, the confusion between personality traits and mental illness symptoms and we bonded over both being two crazy bitches.
Sophie is right in the middle of coming out of a manic episode, finding her diagnosis, coming out of hospital, figuring out her medication and everything else that comes with this VERY confusing time. If you or a loved one if suffering with mental illness or are you are confused on what to do please listen. Hopefully you can get something out of this that helps and I am sure you will!
