Hello and welcome to the Rey Loves Women Podcast, season three! 

I've been hard at work on this season of the podcast for what seems like a thousand years. I couldn't be more excited to present to you the season premiere with San Antonio based musician, and my good friend, Chavela.

Chavela is a soul inspired songwriter who started playing in the local scene two years ago. She's a natural and she quickly became one of my favorite acts in town. Today we talk about her success and her perspective as a young musician in a music scene that can be difficult to navigate.
