Totally Mental

Episode 13: Hello Darkness, Our Old Friend

Listen Later

Tis the season….for depression! In this week’s episode, we’re unpacking seasonal depression, SAD, and also general winter blues. For something that happens annually, it still seems like the earlier sunsets and dipping temperatures hit like an absolute ton of bricks this time of year. It can feel disorienting and can so easily convince us that we may literally never see the sun again! Since we never skimp on the dramatics, in this episode, we bitch! But we also talk about ways we can help ourselves through the inevitable lull that occurs over the next several months. As always, we would love to hear from you on how you’re doing and anything you’ve learned to help lighten the mood while you shred the winter gnar.
