On this episode of The Loans Elevated Podcast, Broch is joined by Landin Arnett for Part Two of The Mind of An Appraiser. Throughout this episode Landin simplifies the difference between an appraisal value and what you as a home owner thinks the value is. Broch and Landin discuss square footage adjustments and how there is a general dollar amount for above and below grade, but how this has changed in recent times. Landin states that as values go up the adjustments also need to go up in order to be able to make significant changes. Landin mentions how Total area is around $10 per square ft for unfinished area and finished area is usually double that, $30 per square ft.
