We DIG Community

Episode 13 | Partnerships for Children

Listen Later

We DIG Community tells the stories of the people and organizations behind our Service Made Social mission. In this episode we sit down with Marcus Cantu, who is Resource Services Director at Partnerships for Children.

Our Austin community has teamed up with Partnerships for Children on a number of occasions, and we have truly enjoyed volunteering with this awesome nonprofit organization. They serve youth and families involved with child protective services all around Austin, and the city is truly better off because of their work! We discuss how Marcus arrived at the organization and what his role looks like today, and we also get more information about the organization's work as a whole.

Marcus also sheds some light on this very important area of need and what challenges are facing the foster care system at this moment in time. We hope you enjoy our conversation with Marcus Cantu, friend and partner of CB Austin!
