Rick Kaufman has nearly twenty years of sales experience and over that time has had more than 2,500 sales appointments with the vast majority generated by referral. Starting in the mortgage business working out of his parent’s basement and then launching his own mortgage company in the early 2000s, he eventually transitioned into the home & auto insurance industry. Since starting with his current company, AmeriStar Insurance, based in Wayzata, Minnesota, over 98% of his 750 clients have been referrals. He’s passionate about the importance of adding value to referral partners by what he calls “systematic authenticity”.
