Her current research project focuses on childhood arrival migrants to the United States. Her academic craft centers Indigenous and feminist pedagogies and methodologies to acknowledge different forms of accessible, reciprocal knowledge-making responsive to community needs. She is an Assistant Professor in Chicano/a/x Studies in the Department of Black and Latino Studies (BLS) Department at Baruch, The City University of New York.
