We are ending Native American Heritage Month with another local Cherokee legend, that if the Moon Eyed People.

Said to be small in stature these being were sensitive to light and would only come out to do their business under the cover of night. Even a full moon would have them seeking shelther from the glaring light. 

Opinions vary on whether these were pale faced humans who came from Welsh nobility, or copper colored fae who have rights over this land we call home. But one thing we do know is that the Cherokee people ran these beings off their land, never to be seen from again... Or so they say.
