One poem in this evening’s episode, entitled “Anemoia” … which is the feeling of nostalgia for a time or a place that you’ve never known, or been to, but long for. It’s a connection to a past era that is usually triggered by old photographs, music stories, or film footage.

I was happy to find out there was a name for this because I have had an incredible longing for the past throughout my entire life. I love looking at old photographs or film- footage or listening to old music from distant eras. I even enjoy going into antique stores and looking at postcards or objects and wondering what the lives were like of people that are no longer here, but have left some remnants behind to document their existence.
