Sometimes in life, if one is fortunate, you can feel truly at home. When you lose that, there is a daily ache and a constant melancholy that follows you from the moment you wake up … and all you want is to go home again.

Sometimes, if you happen to be fortunate enough, your heart can understand more that the mind can fathom and more than words can say.

Sometimes connections are built on something deeper than we know and no matter what happens, it always feels so right.

Each day blends into the next and even though we know what’s coming, we aren’t fully prepared to leave. We all must eventually go however and I wish you were here with me … and I wish you were there with me too.

Sometimes the heart holds memories like thoughts and every quiet moment reveals absolutely everything with a beauty that was experienced as if it were truly meant to last forever and always.

A late night thought inspired this poem at 3am. Maybe when we die everything just goes completely silent. No sound for eternity… our souls woven into the silent fabric of the universe.

Ceiling shadows can weave a spell, late at night where lovers dwell. Sometimes simple memories that are connected to the heart cannot only survive the test of time, but can transport you directly to the beautiful place where it can be re-lived like it was yesterday.

A lifetime together or maybe just under a decade … my minds foggy and filled with memories. There is one thing I feel however foggy my brain becomes… I’m still in love with you. I guess somethings are just a given.

Hope. It can be so important in life. Yes it can let you down, but it can give you unimaginable strength to carry on. Hope is always good to keep on hand or in your pocket. It comes in handy on this journey of life. Make sure you never lose it completely.
