On this episode, Megan is back to co-host this episode because she met our special guest Leah who has a story to tell.
Leah lost her daughter Natalie to the failures of the mental health system. Natalie was only 18 years old. A judge ordered her to a 60-day psychiatric hold because she was a danger to herself and needed the help. They released her two days later...
Less than 24 hours after her release, on April 5, 2025, she died in her sleep....alone, confused, and betrayed by a system that should have protected her.
Leah is fighting to pass Natalie's Law. A bill that will help someone else never experience what Natalie did. Please click the link below to sign the petition.
