After three years since its last in-person event, Anime Expo had its grand return on the big stage, and to the surprise of few it’s still as imperfect as ever with how the event is actually run and managed. Especially since it’s in Los Angeles in JULY. Nevertheless, this means another extended deep dive at the happenings, goings-on, and announcements from AX 2022, of which there were quite a few that were, to sum up, BIG. In the second half of this two-part episode, days 2 and 3 (and even 4) of Anime Expo are discussed, including panels for two big upcoming series (and Bleach, too), why Tokyopop should always be avoided at all costs, some amusing anecdotes from Dark Horse, even MORE Macross coming soon, and the moment where everyone lost their minds - yeah, THAT moment.
