Phil reframes the apostolic around the New Testament theme of ‘sending beloved sons.’ When this revolutionary theme of sonship is inserted into church life the church steps closer to the New Testament apostolic paradigm. God is healing the orphan but He is sending His beloved sons and daughters.  As you and I are sent into one another’s lives as a son or a daughter of our Father, we elevate the community into a divine family where we fully engage with the Father’s heart in all our interactions and connections with one another.
