Welcome to Daily Growth Point, I’m Pastor John Bingham.
Growing up, I often had people comment on the fact that my eyes are blue. When I was with my parents, people immediately connected me to them because of their blue eyes.
You know, one of the evidences of our position in Christ a heart that is yielded to God’s Spirit. Romans says, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
When we let God’s Spirit have control, it reaffirms for us that we belong to Him. As we begin a new year, this simple desire to be yielded to God’s Spirit is vital for the believer.
Start with telling God that you desire to wholly live for Him. Because life has a way of undermining our commitment to live for the Lord, choose to reaffirm this commitment to yield to Him daily. If there areas that are lacking in your life, seek the Spirit’s help to develop these areas in your life.
A life that is yielded to the Holy Spirit is one that belongs to Him. Let us commit to live daily for Christ by remaining yielded to His Spirit.
