In this episode Dhrutrashtra Pandu and vidura get married. Pandu is made the king of Hastinapur and he is ruling the country very well bhishmacharya is by his side guiding him. vidhura the personification of Dharma devatha guides Pandu in all the rights and rules of governing a country.

Dhritarashtra marrys Gandhari Pandu marrys Kunti and Madhri .

Kunti when she was around 9 years old got initiated with a Mantra by Sage Dhurvasa which can make any devatha to come in person and bless her with the child as his amsam. . . Kunti out of curiosity test that mantram on Surya devatha immediately Surya appears before her and bless her with the child Kunti is startled and days confused as to what the world will say about her having a baby even before she got married . she decides to get rid of the baby and puts it in a beautiful box wrapping it with silk cloth with lots of gold and precious stones floats the box into a river. the child is received by a charioter and he adopts the child and brings sit up as a great warrior . that child is karna.

Pandu is cursed by a Rishi for killing him while he is enjoying himself with his wife taking the form of a deer.

if Pandu enjoys with his wives he will be dead is the curse by the rishi.

Pandu leaves for vanavasam. Kunti the wife of Pandu along with Madhri accompanies him to the forest.
