Kadhai neram

The Rajasuya yagam starts. and the discussion on whom to be honoured first leads to Krishna as the unanimous choice except for Sishupala who vehemently opposes the decision. he also abuses Krishna as a mere cowherd who is not even a leader of a clan. he equally degrades Bhishma for making the choice.

Now the gathering starts taking sides. Yudhishtra sees war looming over the event. his efforts to pacify Sishupala only aggregate the enmity.

Bheema is all set to pounce on Sishupala. Bhishma now narrates the story of Sishupala and says Krishna is the one to end his life.

krishna waits for 100th abuse of him and then the sudarshan chakra takes off the head of Sishupala.

and to everyone's surprise a Jyothi emerges from his body and falls at Krishna's feet and merges with Him. .

in this episode the preparations for the great Rajasuya yagam start. Arjuna, Bheema, Nakula and Sahadeva are sent in each direction with the mission of conquering the kings and or acquiring their wealth. Arjuna goes even beyond Himalayas and comes back with lots of Gold, silver and rare gems. along with horses,camels and elephants. Bheema and Nakula also accumulate lots of wealth from east and West. Sahadeva goes South and meets our Chera Choza pandya kings and enjoys their hospitality. he is awestruck by the beauty of the southern landscape.

Later sends Gatothkachan to Srilanka where Vibhishana is still the ruler . Their meeting is what depicted here by Abirami as she was listening to the story.

this episode is an extension of the Main episode 30.

this episode describes the burning of Kandava vana by Agni bhagavan.

He approaches Krishna and Arjuna to help him burn the forest with all its inhabitants to clear himself of indigestion caused by over consumption of ghee poured during a yaga.

He also says that Indra keeps drenching the fire with rain whenever Agni tries to consume the vana by burning it.

Arjuna promises to help him. in return agni& Varuna offer Gandivam the divine Dhanush and many astras to Arjuna . krishna also gets chakra and other Astras through them.

after a fearful fight Indra gives up. and agni consumes the forest to his content. Indra also offers many Astras.

this ends this episode.

Subhadra weds Arjuna .

Subhadra Parinayam is a beautiful episode in the Mahabharatam.

in this episode Arjuna has a secret love for Subhadra the sister of Sri Krishna..

krishna also knows Arjuna's desire.

Arjuna after nearly completing his one year of Teertha yatra comes to Dwaraka disguised as a Sanyasi.

Balarama the elder brother of Krishna and Subhadra invites him to the palace.

Subhadra is introduced to him to serve him.

Arjuna in due course reveals himself and his intention to marry her.

she has already made up her mind to marry only Arjuna and now that Arjuna himself is proposing she immediately accepts.

but they are worried about whether balarama would consent krishna suggests both to elope and get back to Indraprastha.
