Everyone has something unique about them, just as God who created every human being is unique. Therefore trying to run your relationship from the standpoint of gender stereotypes is to rob oneself of the opportunity to get to know one’s spouse or relationship partner better and meet their real needs. This podcast takes a look at the concept of ‘relationship intelligence’ and how it can be applied by singles and married couples in their relationships. Elements of relationship intelligence include:
i. Acquiring specific information about your partner (through observation, discussion, etc.) in order to relate with them with proper understanding
ii. Being able to read emotions and body language
iii. Asking God for wisdom and applying the four aspects of wisdom (insight, discretion, knowledge and common sense) to one’s relationship
iv. Continuous learning about the dynamics of relationships (which can be gained through books and workshops)
