IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN. CURL UP WITH YOUR FAVORITE LOG AND ENJOY THIS BONUS EPISODE.
You can't talk about the legacy of legacy sequels without talking about the legacy of a legacy sequel that skirts the lines between the legacies of film, television, and even David Lynch's as a filmmaker. I (Gabe) am not exactly a Twin Peaks novice, but this was my first time watching anything other than the original series (i.e., Fire Walk with Me and The Return), so, Tyler Foster, who is well-versed in all things Lynch, was there to tell me behind-the-scenes tales, as well as walk me through a litany of fan theories. I offer up a few theories of my own, which will hopefully become series canon, because I'm quite clever, you see. Do note that we recorded this using Zoom, so there are a handful of brief lag and echo effects. I mitigated the issue as much as possible, but, sometimes, it wasn't possible to remove errors from the mix.
00:00 – Twin Peaks seasons one and two 08:52 – Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992) 17:34 – Twin Peaks: The Return (aka: season three) 55:39 – Wrap up and final thoughts.
