Mark Massaro is a short story writer, a reader, book collector, and a concert addict. He's also is a Professor of English, teaching Composition, Literature, and Creative Writing. He was born and raised in Danvers, Massachusetts, a small, portside town just north of Boston, and he moved to Fort Myers in 2003, experiencing extreme culture shock. After working many retail and server jobs throughout his wayward twenties, he went back to school, enrolling in FGCU’s English program, eventually receiving his master’s degree.
