Salem Ilese is a singer-songwriter who’s probably best known for her singles “Mad at Disney” and “PS5” both of which went viral relatively early on in her career. She’s sung at venues including Outside Lands, The Forum, and The Hollywood Bowl, and has toured multiple times throughout Asia. She’s worked with artists like Demi Lovato, and Gwen Stefani.
Salem began her songwriting career at the age of 9 when she started taking classes in San Francisco with Bonnie Hayes who wrote songs for Bonnie Raitt and Cher, among others. She attended Berklee College of Music in Boston majoring in Hayes' songwriting program there.
She left Boston and moved to Los Angeles in 2019 and signed to Homemade Projects and released an EP called “757” that same year. She released her first album called High Concept in 2023 and just recently released her sophomore album, “Growing Down.”
