When professional basketball journeyman Alex Owumi flew to Libya to play for a team in Benghazi, he had no idea that the team he had signed with was owned by the most feared man in the country. 

And to make matters worse, just a short time into his tenure, there was a civil uprising against the teams owner, plunging the country into war.

Alex has an incredible story of survival, of perseverance and of finding brotherhood in the most unlikely of places.
