Roanna Edwards is an old friend of mine and someone whose opinion on a lot of the topics that get everyone fired up I respect a lot.
As an Indigenous Australian woman, she has a lived experience that to be totally honest, I don't fully understand and I don't think many of us do; and that is exactly why it I am so grateful that she came on and had this conversation with me.
We all need to listen a little more at the moment. With society rightfully pushing towards being more inclusive, now is the perfect time to hit play, sit back and listen to someone who can speak for a group of people who aren't heard enough.

Brendon Garrett is a friend I met in Bali many moons ago. He hails from San Diego and has his new song Call It is amazing.
I'm listening to it every evening as a have a cocktail and watch the sun set over the pacific.
He also has a unique perspective and a lot of really cool sh*t to say so I'm sure you'll love this podcast.
Click play and enjoy.

Jeff Farrell is legitimately one of the best people I know.
I am very proud to call him a friend and I am very excited for you to hear his voice.
Jeff is a proud Australian Aboriginal man. How often do we hear from Australian Aboriginal people?
I'd say not enough.
I hope you enjoy this episode.
Kelvin Williams, aka @GETUAKK on Instagram is a Cali-born comedian and internet phenom.
His unique Instagram social commentary videos where he pokes fun at all of the bizarre things that come to his attention have been viewed millions of times and shared by celebrities such as 50 cent.
This conversation is hands down the funniest podcast I have recorded so far and I am very excited for you to have a listen.

When professional basketball journeyman Alex Owumi flew to Libya to play for a team in Benghazi, he had no idea that the team he had signed with was owned by the most feared man in the country.
And to make matters worse, just a short time into his tenure, there was a civil uprising against the teams owner, plunging the country into war.
Alex has an incredible story of survival, of perseverance and of finding brotherhood in the most unlikely of places.
This is a story that must be heard, most of all because you probably have more people willing to help you than you realise.

Musically, Chiara Young is a rocket. Talented, energetic, clued in to the most modern ways of getting her talent noticed by the people that matter - there are no limits to what she will achieve.
But it hasn't be an easy or short road. Chiara has been making and performing music since before Drake made rap whiny.
She's got an incredible story to tell and I'm so lucky to have her join this episode of Nathan's Very On Podcast.
Todays music provided by Jahzzar. The track title is Siesta and you can find this song and many more from Jahzzar here:

It was almost 12 years ago that I moved to Bali to run Alleycats Restaurant.
It was the beginning of the most wild and magical time in my life.
So how did I get there? And once I was there, how did I find a place to live? How did I get settled?
And how can you do the same?
All of that and more in todays episode of Nathan’s Very Own Podcast.
This is my very first solo episode. In it I detail my plans for the future of this podcast as well as provide a little bit of a recap on all of the amazing interviews I've recorded recently.
Enjoy!
Chris 'Binnsie' Binns travels the world interviewing surfers and commentating professional surf events for the World Surf League.
Rubbing shoulders with the likes of Australian surfing greats Mick Fanning and Joel Parkinson as well as getting interviews with people such as the greatest surfer of all time, Kelly Slater, Binnsie has a vast wealth of knowledge when it comes to the pro surf scene.
But to think of him as someone who just sits on the sidelines watching everyone else have a blast is to really miss his magic.
Binnsie is a wild, fun, super adventurous Australian from Perth who has been all around the world and gotten into mischief in more places than most people even dream of visiting.
He is also an incredible story teller and I am super excited to have him on this episode of the show.
Strap yourself in folks, this one is going to be a cracker!

This is not your average 'interesting guy tells cool story' podcast.
Warwick Wright has lived the sort of life that Hunter S Thompson would've loved to have dreamt up and written about on a bender.
Want to know what it is like to be a young professional surfer getting arrested in a foreign country?
Want to know what it is like to grow up in South Africa with a wonderful mum who just happens to be in a very different line of work?
Want to know what happens when you have the best job in the world but lose it because you get thrown under the bus for political correctness?
Hit play and grab yourself a good strong drink, you're going to need it!
