John R. Ostwald (1950-2019), passed with “characteristic humor,  determination and grit” of a year-long battle of Pancreatic Cancer). He is the Author of War, Sacrifice, and Coming Home, Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era, Professor of Psychology with over 25 years of experience, News Columnist,  long time Advocate and Activist for Veterans and the non-profit, Soldier’s Heart , a great example of what a true humanitarian is.
He is honored and recognized in this episode for not only his many amazing accomplishments in the Veterans community, his unique insight in human behavior, but also for his beautiful and warm personality. He also talks about  how becoming more emotional vulnerable helped him in life.
