Hello and welcome to another episode of Revolutions of Our Time!

In this episode we examine general strikes and how they helped to bring about regime change in Czechoslovakia, end some unpopular laws in India, and secure naval protection for the Sumud Flotilla (albeit temporarily). We look at what they have in common, why they were effective, and, as always, try to tease out some lessons for the future.

NOTE: This episode was recorded before the interception of the flotilla by Israel. An update has been provided.

Also at one point Adam said the Czechoslovakia was part of the Soviet Union, when I meant Soviet sphere of influence. He extends his sincere apologies for this.
