I got my mind on myself and myself on my mind!
Last week we talked about habits that come from the heart, specifically the things you say and think.
You speak over you life.
You create your environment, what comes in, what goes out.
You are in control of your life and as soon as you realize the power that lies within your thoughts and words, your life will forever transform any way you want.
Especially your relationships- to everything; career, finances, family, love, friendships, boundaries, and most importantly- yourself.
The relationship you have with yourself is so darn special and is the MOST important.
I hate to break it to ya. It's not the relationship with your significant other, your cat, your kids, the title at work, the house you live in, the car you drive.
The most important relationship is the one you have with yourself. The one you have while looking in the mirror, the one you have while driving by yourself, the one you have while taking a shower, going to bed at night, or in those times of silence.
Why?
I knowwwwww- its like on repeat, but your true, authentic happiness comes from within.
It's not being in a relationship that will make you happy, it's not having a certain amount of money in the bank, it's not about a certain job promotion.
Your relationship with yourself is the DRIVING force of happiness and fulfillment.
When you neglect your personal relationship or have one that's barely hanging on, it affects EVERYTHING in your life.
When you have no idea who you are, what you stand for, your morals or values- then quite frankly you might as well just have none.
And when you have none, you have crappy friends, you have sh*t heads for a partner, you're always broke, you make lateral moves in your career (if you even move at all), you are constantly chasing chasing chasing and never get anywhere.
You always wanna be "anywhere but here".
When you do have an amazing, powerful and fun relationship with yourself- you know how to set boundaries and accept nothing less, so you have bomb a$$ friends, an out of this world partner, money in DA BANK, you do what you love for work, all with a stupid silly smile on your face. You THRIVE my dear. YOU thrive.
So tune in now for a shift in your perspective on yourself and start to take a some good tender loving care on the relationship that matters the most.
The one with YOU.
