Spoiler alert: it wasn’t shitty. Then Sam catches her up on all the things she missed while she was away: album announcements, new music and music videos, Taylor and Travis at awards shows, and an inspiring story of Swifties in outer space! The song of the week had us really reflecting on the power of Taylor’s ability to tell a story and keep the listener engaged in the album. But certain lyrics in this song had both of us sibs really wondering what she meant. It’s an epic opening track and one of the most important ones of the entire Red album.
