This is an imperative given to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Church must be on fire for God by the preaching and prompting of the Holy Spirit and not become a extinguisher of it. Many believers and churches quench the Spirit's great work amidst them due to their sinful actions and foolish deeds. We must repent of it and return to the Lord for His holy fire so that we are enlightened by the Scriptures and enlisted by the Spirit in God's service. Amen. SDG.

Forsaking God and all that belongs to God is detrimental to the soul! Yet many have done this gross sin just as Israel of old. Let us learn to forsake the harmful things of this world and embrace the helpful things of God. Pay attention to the warnings issued in Scriptures and let us learn lessons before we commit the same blunders. May God draw us to Himself away from all other useless things of the world. Amen. SDG.

God 'breathed' Scripture is given to shape our lives for His glory and others good. In our day, when many are discarding the Scripture very few saints truly desire it. We must not only believe in all Scripture but also must behave according to it. The Word of God sanctifies us and strengthens us to withstand all evil. May we become like the early church which was 'devoted' to the apostles doctrine. Amen. SDG.

Confronting the sin of the church members under Divine instruction and direction is a key ingredient in developing the Church health. People need confrontation in a loving manner and correction as per the written Word for their edification. It cannot or should not be shunned by any means to please the people. Sacrifice is replaced by selfishness in the majority who claim to be Christians! Today's Christianity is not a true picture of the early Christianity. The disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ are known for a 'sacrificial lifestyle!' Due to corrupt self and corrupt teachers in Christendom many have been led astray into falsehood. Christ Jesus is the perfect picture of sacrifice and all His true disciples must imitate Him and learn to live a sacrificial life for His glory. Sacrifice leads us in the way of the Lord and blesses others. May we learn to be like our Lord Jesus in this area of life. Amen. SDG.

Many enter marriage without a clue about its Biblical importance and impact upon their lives! Christian couples must be groomed by the Scriptures to have a blessed bond in Christ.
