Paul Bennewitz was an engineer and a businessman whose interest in UFOs led him to become a member of Arizona's Aerial Phenomena Research Organisation in the 1970s. Possibly as a result of what he called his personally funded study into UFOS, which involved him filming and monitoring radio signals from a US air base, he allegedly became the target of a government misinformation campaign.
