Following a recent catch-up with Michael Woolnough - a man who graced the wings of Kardinia Park between 1971 and ‘78 - we were fortunate to be joined by his son Marc, a player who had two cracks at Geelong around the turn
of the century.
At the time there was good reason to believe
that we had an outstanding, 200-game player in our midst, however, sadly, a succession of serious injuries cruelly limited Marc’s time at Kardinia Park to six games.
