From following along with her story via the work she shares, I suspected our childhood stories might be similar. Little did I know, how closely the narratives actually ran between us. Being raised in evangelical Christianity, Eryn shares her way out of religiosity and her journey home. She shares what it felt like to grow up in a way that didn't allow for differences of truth and perspective and was full of spoken and unspoken agendas. Eryn shares what it felt like to have to lie about feelings, thoughts, and who she truly was. She opens up about how this created patterns of disembodiment and handing away her power.
