Sometimes we get caught up in exploring as Glampers and we can overlook some of the jewels near our own home. We’ll be starting a series on Glamping in your own State this week with some of these hidden jewels we’ve found in our home state of Louisiana!

This week we’ll talk about Poverty Point. Poverty Point was a great place for us to extend our Glamping into a normal weekend. We enjoyed the park as well as some of the nearby amenities. Along the way we learned quite a bit about this ancient site in our own state that we’d never been to.
