Another Sunday Another New episode, episode 16 is in  the building. Today on the grind Theory podcast we are joined by special guest Alain Intwali. Alain Intwali is Rwandese born, genocide survivor who managed to come to Canada around the age of 12, Alain is also an artist , audio engineer and the owner and founder of commudio a studio meant for the community and to teach artist and kids in the community at an affordable rate. Not only that but he is also the founder and host of the building bridges podcast where they recently interviewed the commissioner of police. Alain joins Aquille and Ore to dive into a list of different topics such as Alain traumatic childhood and upbringing, hilarious stories of his first thoughts when coming to Canada. What inspired him to become a artist and do music as well as what led him to start his studio The commudio and the building bridges podcast as well as the struggles he faced how he overcame and what he learned.

Alain shares his traumatic upbringing being born into the middle of Rwanda Genocide, where both his parents were from the tribe being hunted. He goes on to talk about a crazy school experience he had where he saw things that no child should see. And his first thoughts on coming to Canada what's up with all the PDA as well the differences between the culture here and back home.

He goes on to share his thoughts on failure and how he thinks it's essential especially as a kid. He goes back and forth with Aquille and Ore about ass whooping vs getting talked to and creating a relationship with your kid. The discuss the balance between the 2 and touch on how none of them regret getting them

Alain continues his story by sharing what led him to his love of music and wanting to become an artist. He talked about how he had struggles getting into studio and getting his songs mixed and mastered. Which led him to take matters into his own hands and take audio engineering in school.

He talks about how he started his studio commudio  and his purpose and intention behind it. He also mentions how he manages to balances making profit with giving back. He also talks about knowing when it's time to quit vs when to keep going. And the importance of building a  team and dividing your workload 

Alain goes on to dive into his biggest struggle so far he has faced in his life, and how he adapted and overcome having to figure how to be successful in a new environment and country. As well as being taken seriously in his business 

The importance of having people that can keep you accountable and be brutally honest. As well Alain shares what he is working on and what his theory of the grind.
