Derek Guy aka @dieworkwear is a guy named Derek who really likes to wear clothes good and also likes to dunk on guys who do not wear clothes good on X, The Everything App. A lot of the time those guys are in the Trump Administration and once Derek makes fun of the way they dress they stop being bad (haha jk). This episode is more about menswear as a phenomenon but we decided to frame it around Derek because he represents a specific strain of thinking in mens’ fashion, but more importantly he likes to pop off online so maybe he’ll get mad at us and give us clout. Other topics discussed include the Cone Mills Decepticon, the ultimate collab (smoking weed x playing videogames), and how wearing clothes is and is not like posting.
Macho Pod is hosted by Yannick LeJacq, drew millard, and Yuri Rybak. Yuri also does our theme music and the sound collages you hear at the beginning of the episode. He usually produces the episodes too but he was out this week so Drew did it; all audio errors are his fault. If you enjoy the show, please consider rating and reviewing us on Apple Podcasts and/or subscribing to us on Substack.
