Pharaoh clearly says he’s sinned and asks Moses to entreat on his behalf. But, did he actually repent?

Seems unlikely given that the Text tells us he sinned again by hardening his heart and not letting the Israelites go.

It’s at this moment God tells Moses, I am continuing so that future generations of Israel know that I am YHWY (Exodus 10:1-3).

But, what could it have looked like if the most powerful person in the world went through the steps of repentance?
