One day later Jenna Ortega chose to step away from the Film, while not explicitly stated this would indicate to many a sign of Solidarity.

The Scream Franchise is one with a legacy of of Strong Female characters standing up against those who would seek to abuse and kill people that are deemed as undeserving of life. The Production company Spyglass Says Melissa Barrera Was Fired From 'Scream' Due to Rhetoric That 'Flagrantly Crosses the Line Into Hate Speech’ including ‘false accusations of genocid and ethnic cleansing’ .
